Cortina lives two lives. In winter it is a ski resort at full volume, with the town busy from December through the cold months and every table taken by evening.
In summer it becomes a quieter walking and climbing town, with a completely different pace. Tell me which season you are coming in and I will plan honestly for it.

Cortina enquiries stay private and are answered by me directly. Only the practical details are discussed — dates, where you are staying, how visitors are handled — and nothing else is requested. Boundaries are agreed before the weekend is confirmed, by both people where a couple enquires.
Daylight on Snow, Evenings by Fire
The day is short and bright and belongs to the mountain. By late afternoon the light goes blue and everyone comes down.
That is when Cortina is at its best — a long dinner, a fire, and no obligation to be anywhere afterwards. If you do not ski, the evenings alone are worth the trip.

- Broadly from December through the coldest months, with the holiday weeks and February at their busiest. Early enquiries matter most then.

- How long does the journey from Venice take?
- It is a long drive rather than a short hop, and winter conditions can extend it. I plan arrival days with time to spare.
