Distance, Transport and Planning
Al Dhafra is the western region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and Liwa is several hours by road from the city. Routes, timings and vehicles all matter more than they do anywhere else in the country.
I make no transport arrangements and imply no spontaneous access. Plans here need to be made well ahead, and I will say plainly when something is not realistic.
Long, Unhurried Hours
Stays here are measured in days rather than evenings, and almost nothing is scheduled within them.

Out here privacy is mostly a matter of distance, and I still treat the rest of it carefully. Enquiries stay with me, only the practical details are exchanged, and boundaries agreed in advance by women or couples remain exactly as agreed.

- Yes. Couples wanting genuinely secluded days are the most natural fit for this region, and I would want to hear from both of you.
- How far in advance should we enquire?
- Well in advance. Distances, transport and accommodation all take planning out here, and short notice rarely works.

- Extremely, simply because of where it is. The region is vast and very lightly populated.
- Can private time be arranged at a desert resort?
- Subject to that property's visitor policies and access rules. I claim no access to any camp, retreat or restricted area.
- Can boundaries be set beforehand?
- Yes, and for a longer stay it matters more than anywhere. Nothing is assumed later.
- How do we get there?
- By road from Abu Dhabi, several hours depending on route and conditions. Tell me your travel plans and we will work with them.
- Is a longer stay better here?
- Considerably. The journey only makes sense for days rather than an evening.
- Do you meet women as well as couples?
- Yes — women and couples both. The conversation beforehand differs, but the principle does not: privacy, comfort and a clear sense of what each person wants from the time. Arrangements in Liwa are made the same way, quietly and in advance.
- How do you approach privacy and boundaries?
- Discretion is assumed rather than requested. I keep correspondence to your preferred method, ask for no unnecessary personal detail, and treat whatever you tell me about your limits as settled. In Liwa this is usually settled in a short private exchange before anything is confirmed.
