The Quiet Hours of a Loud Season
The peninsula in July is all wind, music and movement. What people write to me about is the opposite: a stone courtyard at ten at night, nobody expecting anything, and time that does not need filling.
That is what I arrange here. Private, slow, and deliberately separate from the season happening two streets away.
Alaçatı, Çeşme and Ilıca
Alaçatı is a town of its own on the Çeşme peninsula, known for its stone houses, boutique hotels and narrow streets — not a district of İzmir city, and it behaves nothing like one.
Çeşme is the larger centre, with the castle, the harbour and a marina I mention only as geography. Ilıca has the long beach and the bigger hotels. Beach clubs across the peninsula are independent businesses I hold no relationship with — no table, no list, no entry arranged by me.
Women and Couples in Summer
Women write about a few days here and want real company inside them rather than around them. No explanation is asked for and none is expected.
Couples come for long weekends and write together. I want to know what each of you hopes for, what neither of you wants, and how it should feel — settled between us before anyone arrives.
Privacy
One Long Street, Unremarkable Arrivals
Alaçatı in season is essentially one street where everyone recognises everyone, so I make arrivals unremarkable and keep plans off any public footing. Your enquiry comes to me alone and is answered only where you asked. I request the town, the property and the dates, nothing identifying beyond that. Small boutique hotels have exacting procedures and I follow them, couples can say in advance what they want understood, and I promise no anonymity systems — only that nothing travels.

- Can I arrange private companionship in Çeşme or Alaçatı?
- Often, given notice. Tell me which town, the property and your dates and I will tell you what is realistic.

- Both. Private time is the centre of it, and couples write together before anything is agreed.
- Is Alaçatı part of İzmir city?
- No. Alaçatı is a town on the Çeşme peninsula west of İzmir, within İzmir Province but entirely separate from the city itself.

- Yes, and it is the most common enquiry from here. Boundaries clear beforehand, both partners comfortable, nothing conspicuous.

- None whatsoever. I have no membership, table, list or arrangement with any club or marina, and I will never imply one.

- Yes. Arrangements depend on the property’s visitor policies and access requirements, and the small hotels here are particular about them.
- Can dinner or an evening out be included?
- Secondarily. An evening in Alaçatı can sit around the private hours; it never takes their place.
- How early should we write for July or August?
- Several weeks ahead. Summer weekends on this peninsula fill early and late enquiries usually get an honest no.
- Can a couple arrange private companionship with you here?
- Yes. I meet couples when the idea feels right for both people. Before anything is arranged I want to understand what you are each hoping for, where your boundaries sit and what would make both of you comfortable. I am never there to compete with the relationship. If you are writing from Çeşme & Alaçatı or arriving there, the process is identical.
- Is the experience mainly private time together?
- Yes. The centre of it is private, unhurried time — conversation, atmosphere and company without an audience. Dinner, an event or time outside can be added, but they are never the reason. In Çeşme & Alaçatı this is usually settled in a short private exchange before anything is confirmed.
