Private Companion in Svalbard
The furthest north anything on this site goes. Svalbard is not a destination you add to a trip; it is the trip, and it decides the terms.
Private companionship
The Quiet Part of the Evening
In Svalbard I arrange private companionship for women and for couples. The heart of it is personal time — calm, unhurried and entirely private — and anything beyond that is added only because you want it there.
Some people add dinner or an event. Others prefer that nothing is scheduled at all. Both are welcome, and neither needs explaining.
I prefer the hours nobody documents. They tend to be the honest ones.
You can read more about how I approach time with women or a shared experience with couples before you write to me.
Lucianno Vargas
A Personal Introduction
I’m Lucianno Vargas, a private male companion. In Svalbard I meet women and couples, and private time is the whole of it — nothing about the Arctic outside is mine to offer.
At a glance
Private Companionship in Svalbard
I am Lucianno Vargas, a private male companion. I arrange discreet private companionship in Svalbard for women and for couples, with private time at the centre. Svalbard is a Norwegian Arctic archipelago far north of the mainland, reachable only by air or sea, with Longyearbyen as its main settlement and the base for accommodation and services. Polar night and polar day replace ordinary seasons, flights and rooms are limited, and weather governs everything. Outdoor plans require appropriate operators, local safety practice and respect for access rules, and are never something I arrange or accompany. Any arrangement depends on the property’s visitor policies, access requirements and practical logistics.
A Place That Sets the Terms
Everywhere else on this site, geography is atmosphere. Here it is a set of conditions, and they are not negotiable.
Longyearbyen is a small settlement of coloured buildings on a valley floor, surrounded by dark mountains and, for months at a time, complete darkness or complete daylight.
There is something genuinely stilling about it. Not romantic in the usual sense — simply very far from everything, which turns out to have the same effect.
Long Indoor Hours in the Arctic
What I arrange here is indoor, unhurried and deliberately unambitious about the outside world.
Stays are long because travel is long, and the private time follows that: no departure to plan around for days, no reason to hurry anything.
Attention, conversation, warmth and the extraordinary quiet of a place where very little happens after hours. That is the entire offer.
Logistics and Safety, Stated Plainly
Reaching Svalbard means flights that are limited and occasionally cancelled, and accommodation that must be booked a long way ahead. Nothing here can be improvised.
Anything outside the settlement is a serious undertaking that depends on appropriate local operators, local safety practice, weather judgement, equipment and access rules. That is not caution for its own sake; it is how the place works.
I hold no wilderness access, no snowmobile, no boat, no expedition arrangement, no guiding qualification and no access to restricted areas. I make no claims about wildlife of any kind and promise nothing about what anyone will see. If you have booked something with a licensed operator, it is yours, and I plan around it.
Couples in Svalbard
Almost everyone who writes from here is planning months ahead, and couples especially. That long lead time is an advantage rather than a chore.
Tell me together what each of you wants from the time, what neither of you wants, and anything that should be understood before dates are fixed.
There is time here to get it right. The pace belongs to whichever of you wants it slower, and stopping remains a complete answer at any point.
Privacy
Discretion in a Settlement of a Few Thousand
There is no anonymity in Longyearbyen and I will not pretend otherwise. What exists instead is preparation: timing agreed long in advance, arrival kept ordinary, and nothing arranged that depends on a rule being overlooked. I ask only for your dates, exactly where you are staying and the atmosphere you want — never your employer, never anything explicit. Your enquiry is answered only where you asked. Accommodation visitor rules are followed exactly as set. Each partner in a couple can say beforehand what should be understood. No anonymity, encryption or automatic deletion is promised.

Other Norway Destinations
Tromsø
Above the Arctic Circle the year stops pretending to be a day. Tromsø is either dark for weeks or light for weeks, and both do something strange and useful to how people talk.
Lofoten
Mountains that come straight out of the sea, and villages small enough to count from the road. Lofoten does not do casual, and neither should anything arranged here.
Trondheim
An old city on a slow river, with wooden wharves standing in black water and a cathedral that has outlasted every opinion ever held about it.
Questions About Svalbard
- Is Svalbard covered, and can I enquire about it?
- Yes, with a great deal of notice. Svalbard is a Norwegian Arctic archipelago reached only by air or sea, so months rather than weeks is the realistic planning window.
- Do you meet women and couples in Svalbard?
- Both, and couples most often, usually planning far ahead. I would like a few words from each partner rather than one message written for two people.
- Can both partners raise boundaries beforehand?
- Yes, and the long lead time makes that easy. Ordinary words are enough, nothing explicit is needed, and anything agreed in advance is treated as fixed.
- Is Svalbard part of mainland Norway?
- No. It is a Norwegian Arctic archipelago far north of the mainland, with its own conditions and logistics, and it is treated as entirely separate here.
- Do you arrange snowmobiling, boats or wilderness trips?
- No, none of it. Outdoor activity here requires appropriate local operators, safety practice, equipment and access rules. I hold no wilderness, vehicle, boat, expedition or restricted-area access.
- What about wildlife?
- I make no claims and no promises about wildlife of any kind. Anything outside the settlement is a matter for licensed operators and local safety practice, not for me.
- Does accommodation matter here?
- Very much. Rooms in Longyearbyen are limited and book far ahead, and any arrangement depends on the property’s visitor policies, access requirements and practical logistics.
- How long should a stay be?
- Several days at least. Getting here consumes so much of a trip that a short stay leaves almost nothing behind once travel and weather have taken their share.
- How early should I write?
- Months ahead. Flights, rooms and my own travel all have to align, and Svalbard is the one place where late enquiries are almost always answered with a no.
- Can a couple arrange private companionship with you here?
- Yes. Couples enquire regularly, and I ask that both of you are genuinely comfortable with the idea. We talk it through beforehand — atmosphere, limits, what you would rather avoid — so nothing is assumed once we meet. In Svalbard this is usually settled in a short private exchange before anything is confirmed.
- Is the experience mainly private time together?
- It is. The private hours are the experience; the restaurant, the occasion or the journey are simply things that can sit around them. In Svalbard this is usually settled in a short private exchange before anything is confirmed.

Begin a Private Conversation
Every experience begins with a conversation.
Tell me your dates, where in Longyearbyen you are staying, whether you are writing for yourself or as a couple, how long the stay is, and the atmosphere you have in mind. Write far earlier than you would for anywhere else, and mention anything you have already booked with local operators.
“At this latitude the world stops offering distractions. Whatever is between two people is simply there, in the room, with nowhere else to go.”
