Kassandra, Sithonia and Ouranoupoli
Kassandra is the western peninsula and carries the region’s most developed resort and nightlife character. Sithonia, the middle peninsula, is more forested and gives a journey a quieter, more dispersed rhythm.
Ouranoupoli stands at the entrance to the Athos peninsula and has its own coastal setting. Mount Athos itself has restricted access and should never be treated as an ordinary resort destination. I plan only around places where a meeting can appropriately be discussed.

Unlike a compact city, Halkidiki is defined by distance between bays, resorts and peninsulas. That space is part of its appeal, but it also means the right arrangement begins with practical clarity.
