The Village, Ramatuelle, Gassin and Pampelonne

The old harbour and Place des Lices are the centre of everything, particularly on market mornings. The Pampelonne stretch to the south runs its own daytime rhythm until the light goes.

Ramatuelle and Gassin, in the hills behind, are where the quieter properties are. Tell me which of these worlds you are staying in and the shape of the time becomes obvious. Access always depends on the property’s own rules.

The Difference Between July and September

High summer is crowded and glorious if that is what you came for. June and September keep the warmth and lose most of the noise, and the village feels more like itself.

If your dates are flexible, tell me and I will say honestly which weeks suit the kind of time you are describing.

In a village this size in August, discretion is a habit rather than a promise. I answer enquiries myself, keep your plans between us and ask only what the arrangement needs. Who you are with, where you are staying and why you came are not things I mention to anyone. Couples can tell me beforehand what each of them is comfortable with, and that is where the conversation stays.

As early as you can. August fills long before it arrives and I will not promise availability I cannot honour.

For some visits, very much so. Late spring and September are quieter, warmer than people expect and far easier to plan around.
