Between Nice and the Monaco Border Region

Nice lies a short drive west along the coast, with its airport beyond it. East, the road continues through Beaulieu-sur-Mer toward the Monaco border region — a separate sovereign country, not part of France, though the drive takes minutes.

Villefranche-sur-Mer and its deep bay sit just before the peninsula. Together these make a stay here far less isolated than the silence suggests.
