The region begins roughly an hour and a half north of Montréal and runs through Saint-Sauveur, Sainte-Adèle, Val-David and Mont-Tremblant, with lakes, chalets and ski terrain through the winter. Skiing, dinner or time outside can be included and remain secondary. Access to any chalet, hotel or resort depends entirely on your own booking and that property's rules — I hold no membership, lift privileges or arrangement with any resort here.
Winter Is the Argument
The Laurentians in winter are dark by five and silent by nine. Snow takes the sound out of everything, and the only light for a kilometre is whatever is burning inside.
That is the whole appeal. There is no evening to go out to, no scene to be seen in, nothing at all between the end of the afternoon and the beginning of the hours that matter.
Summer works differently — lakes, long light, water instead of snow — and is quieter than most people expect.
Along the Valley
Saint-Sauveur is the closest to Montréal and the busiest on a weekend. Sainte-Adèle and Val-David are slower, more residential and full of chalets set back from the road.
Mont-Tremblant sits furthest north and holds the largest resort village in the region, with hotels and rentals around the base and the lake beyond it.
Distances are short on a map and longer in a storm. Wherever you are staying, the drive is worth mentioning early.
Couples in the Mountains
A chalet changes the shape of the conversation. There is a fire, there is time, and there is nobody at a front desk counting arrivals.
I would like to hear from both of you beforehand — what you imagine, what you have agreed, and what either of you would rather leave out. Comfort is the entire structure of the evening.
Skiing, if you want it, belongs to the daytime. It has nothing to do with why people write to me.

Distance as Discretion
Up here the geography does much of the work: private roads, spaced-out properties, valleys that keep to themselves. I keep the arrangement to the people involved, request nothing the plan does not need, and never mention a chalet, a village or a name. Where a couple is enquiring I would like to hear that you are both comfortable, and anything either of you wants me to understand is settled before the dates are confirmed.

- Does skiing have to be part of it?
- Not at all. The slopes are daytime context. What I arrange is the private time, and plenty of people never leave the chalet.

- Saint-Sauveur, Sainte-Adèle, Val-David, Mont-Tremblant and the lakes around them.
- When should we enquire for a winter weekend?
- As early as you can. Holiday weeks and school breaks fill first, and weather can change any plan at short notice.
- Can a couple arrange private companionship with you here?
- Yes. I meet couples when the idea feels right for both people. Before anything is arranged I want to understand what you are each hoping for, where your boundaries sit and what would make both of you comfortable. I am never there to compete with the relationship. That is true in Laurentians & Mont-Tremblant as it is anywhere else I meet people.
- Is the experience mainly private time together?
- Yes. The centre of it is private, unhurried time — conversation, atmosphere and company without an audience. Dinner, an event or time outside can be added, but they are never the reason. In Laurentians & Mont-Tremblant this is usually settled in a short private exchange before anything is confirmed.
